Chevrolet Debuts Impala, Monte Carlo
SUMMARY: The current generation Chevrolet Impala and Monte Carlo haven’t exactly been auto industry darlings by any stretch of the imagination. Saddled with lukewarm styling, interiors, power, and handling; these two mechanically similar Chevrolets have often been relegated to the rental car fleet of also-rans. General Motors is trying to change all that with the 2006 Impala and Monte Carlo, with “stylish design, stirring performance and surprising details, including available V8 power.”

wow just when i thought my 01' impala was bland I saw the 06'impala. let me tell you, bland isn't the word for it, more like frankenstein. the back end looks like a sebring and the front looks like a new civic or accord. sure it has a v-8 but look at the wrapper they put it in. and for the monte it looks like they brought back the 95' lumina. (i wonder if marty mcfly comes with the car). disgust is the only feeling i have. I wonder with stylings like this are they going to kill off the impala, again. i hope not. NOW I THINK MY 01' IMPALA IS PRETTY SNAZZY. I FEEL LIKE I'VE JUST BOUGHT A NEW CAR. THANKS GM
