How suspension relats to the brake effect?
I've read lots of articlea about brake system, but no one mentioned about the relationship between suspension and brake. Does anyone know some information about this?

I have a 1966 Ford F100 that is going to serve as my project and main transportation. Before I do any thing to it, I want to upgrade the front suspension, and upgrade the brakes. It has a single resevoir Master Cylinder that I want to convert to a powered dual master cylinder setup. eventually I would like to go the whole disc conversion for the front but at the moment money is an issue. my question, should I install a proportioning valve now or wait untill I get to the point of converting the front drums? If I install a proportioning valve initially should it be regulated 50/50 as long as I remain using the stock drum brakes all around?
