The History of AC Cars

AC is the oldest British car manufacturer with continuous production since 1901.  The marque has enormous prestige and an extraordinary history – seemingly more fiction than fact. The AC story is one that is truly hands across the sea for more than 40 years.  Long may it continue.  The AC Cobra has become an automotive icon – a legend in its own lifetime.

To cut a long story short I lapped all but one of the cars - a well prepared MGA Twin Cam (also prepared by Candy). That night in the bar when things were quiet Candy handed me back my $200. "That's for starters and we've got a couple of hundred more for the budget, but one of the guys wants to buy the car."
